About this site
An independent resource for realtime web developers: WebTransport, the web platform and AI coding tools. Not affiliated with the former echo server.
What is this site?
WebTransport Day is an independent resource for web developers building realtime apps: WebTransport and the web platform, plus hands-on coverage of the AI coding tools developers use to build them.
WebTransport and realtime material is the core. It includes sourced guides, reference data and a free browser-based WebTransport tester. The AI coding section is framed for web and realtime developers, and its pages describe only what we have sourced or tested.
What happened to the echo server?
This domain previously hosted a public WebTransport echo server. That service is no longer running here. This site is now an independent developer resource and is not affiliated with the original service. See the echo server page for the history and for other public servers.
Who writes it?
Pages are published under the site name rather than an individual byline. We do not publish invented people, bios or credentials; a named reviewer is added to a page only when a real person has reviewed it and agreed to be named.
How do we work?
Read the editorial policy and methodology and the disclosure. To reach us, see contact.
How is this site funded?
The site is independently run. Some links on this site are affiliate links or otherwise compensated. Where that applies the page says so and the link uses rel="sponsored nofollow". Compensation does not change how things are ranked; the criteria are on the editorial policy page.
