AI coding for web and realtime developers

WebTransport Day is an independent resource for web developers building realtime apps: WebTransport and the web platform, plus hands-on coverage of the AI coding tools developers use to build them.

What we test and how

We describe only results of tasks we actually ran. A tested page lists the tool and its version, the plan, the date the task was run, the exact task prompt, and what failed. A page without a completed test is an explainer, not a verdict: it says what the vendor's or project's own documentation states, with the date we read it. The full rules are in the editorial policy.

Where this meets WebTransport

Realtime protocols are a good test for an AI assistant: the code has to be right on both the browser and the server, over a protocol that is newer and less documented than WebSocket. Start with WebTransport, the WebTransport vs WebSocket guide, or the browser tester.

Pages in this section

The first pages are being prepared. Each is published only after its sources are checked and, for tested pages, after the task has been run.
